Our Story

We are Summer Archive LLC, full service landscape design studio , from initial concept through construction observation.

Services include: outdoor space design, site programming, planting plans, material palettes, sourcing of outdoor furnishings, vessels, and accessories. Design deliverables may include concept imagery, drawings, and presentation materials that help translate each client's vision into a cohesive and buildable landscape.

values

Budget conscious with results

We can work with you and your budget to get you results you are excited about. Whether it’s a small scale renovation or a large scale new construction, we will work with you every step of the way.

Your backyard should feel like a destination

It’s not an afterthought, it should be a place you actually want to be— designed around the way you live. Your lifestyle informs the design, we want to make the spaces functional and visually pleasing.

The best spaces get better with time

A Summer Archive project doesn't peak on install day. It fills in, settles in, grows into itself, design that earns its place in your life season after season.

Good design is specific

Not for a trend, not using a template; but just for you. Specifying materials, furniture, and plants that fit the context of your space and design.

Every detail has a reason

The planting, the materials, the way light moves through the space at the end of the day; Nothing is accidental. Summer Archive designs with intention at every scale.

collaboration is key

Working with you, the builders and any other consultants is very important to us. Ensuring everyone is on the same page and building exactly what is detailed.
